Taqueria Ramirez

It's a fine taqueria. Good sauces. Tasty not but a great value given the prices for "bite size tacos.". Honestly my biggest complaint is their tortillas taste store bought: I found them to be similar to the 20 for $2 Mission tortillas you can buy at any supermarket.

These tacos are incredible, México City-level of deliciousness. I’m having a bit of trouble explaining how good they are. Their pastor, which is one of the hardest to do right, is spot-on, though try them all.

These aren’t just tacos, but a genuine experience of good food among really cool people, music, and healthy fats! Taqueria Ramírez brings a taste similar to a hole in the wall somewhere in Mexico City- impossible to get enough!

Had their tacos at a pop up and words cannot describe how delicious everything was. The fresh cilantro and onions, fresh salsas, tacos handed to me right off the grill...it was pure heaven. I eat alot of tacos but none like this! A must try and then repeat over and over and over... 😋

Honestly, I usually find that the trucks have the best tacos as opposed to restaurants. It's not always true but I often find that there's an authenticity that the restaurants lose. But this place can compete with a taco truck any day! I took a trip to Mexico a few months back and got to gain a perspective for what authentic tacos taste like and these guys have brought that experience right into Greenpoint. 5 stars hands down.
