Viva Mexico Restaurant

A good Mexican restaurant in the area ! The food was pretty great and service was nice too. Can be better for vegetarian options but has good taste.

My wife & I were stuck in traffic near Bay Ridge. She suggested stopping for Mexican food. I do not particularly care for Mexican food, but I like sitting in traffic even less.
The place is little more than a hole in the wall. But they serve the freshest, most delicious food I have had in some time (not including my wife’s meals, of course).
The guacamole is fresh. The chips are homemade. The drinks were perfect. The service was terrific.
I would award more than 5 stars if possible!

Pleasantly surprised. The chicken wrap was fresh and tasty. Nothing was microwaved or bland. Margaritas were on point. Service was great , no complaints. I will be returning

I was in the mood for authentic Mexican food (can't stand the Chinese "Tex Mex" places) so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered chicken enchiladas with red sauce and wrote "less spicy" in the comments. They were nice enough to call me while preparing my food to let me know their red sauce is very spicy. They recommended substituting green sauce instead and I agreed. Wow, when the enchiladas arrived they were *delicious*! The rice and beans were great too. I'm definitely putting this restaurant on my favorites list.

The new restaurant in the neighborhood is perfect for Mexican food! The food feels like a home cooked meal when it comes sizzling hot from the kitchen. Highly recommend the flautas and chicken fajita. The chimichanga is exceptional too. The staff was very friendly and I cannot wait to come back here again this will be a new favorite.
