Zanmi restaurant

Great food and great service. Everything was amazing. The waiters kept asking us if we needed anything, they were very attentive. The macaroni dish was amazing.

My sister from out of state heard about this restaurant from a friend and highly recommended that I go there to try it out since I love dining out so much.
It's a lovely ambiance with a live band that will really put you in a great mood. However, I found the host to be a tat snarky for someone in the hospitality business. I don't know if it's because of the holiday weekend or the pandemic, I find them to be unorganized and scrambling to figure out how to sit people to effectively use their outdoor space.
Regardless of my interaction with the host, I ended up having a good time. The food is amazing. The shiktay is exceptionally exquisite. Try it out. However, I don't recommend the grilled conch. They really don't know how to make it to bring out the flavor of the conch. Stay away from it!
Despite being disappointed with the grilled conch, I highly recommend this restaurant. It's an authentic Haitian cuisine.

Really nice place to eat, I appreciate the garden of peppers ?️ growing by the outdoor seating, it gave the area a decorative ambiance. Usually Haitian restaurants are lacking in vegan or vegetarian options, but they make sure to include it with a twist of authentic Haitian flavors. I ordered the eggplant sandwich with a side of macaroni gratin that came in small pot (very clever presentation). I was not disappointed! I highly recommend

The best voodoo pasta in the entire world. So creamy and flavorful. I get it all the time and it’s always delicious. ALWAYS! Come here every week, and honestly as a Haitian it’s nice to finally find a sit down Haitian spot - perfect for date night or family gatherings. Great drinks for kids too. Mocktails are in point!

I’ve ordered food from Zanmi several times this year, so I already knew the food was amazing. Finally got to enjoy outside seating and dine there. Service and experience was so good, I dined there twice in one weekend. Haitian music in the background. Attentive, friendly staff. Beautifully plated dishes. Refreshing drinks. Great dining experience overall. And I had so much food I took a “to-go” bag.
