Caffe Tazza

Wish I could give this place 10 stars. Staff was amazing and the food was the best I have ever had.

Cafe Tazza is a valuable addition to Dansville's Main Street. This bar/restaurant/ woodfire pizza shop all in one is conveniently located next door to the Sugar Bowl, a sister business, so feel free to order coffee from that specialty shop with your dinner. The chicken pesto pizza and the "Bianca" white pizza are personal favorites. Check the hours of operation before heading out, though. Cafe Tazza has limited hours if operation and is not open every night of the week. They also don't open for lunch, so you'll have to wait for dinner to stop by.

Nice spot. Pretty comprehensive wine selection and a nice combination of Tapas options. Also a brick oven pizzeria and a full Italian menu. I had spicy sausage and farfalle in a tomato cream sauce. My daughter and her husband split a Mediterranean pizza. Also we had the ravioli fritta for an appetizer. All delicious. Will definitely return.

Disappointing meal. I had chicken parmigiana and I tasted like it was deep fried and not pan fried. Dry. The sauce was watery and not too flavorful. The garlic bread was toasted bread without any discernable garlic flavor.
The coconut lime shrimp appetizer was very good (as usual) and my wife's pizza was also very good (as usual).
