Phenomenal wine list, expansive views, comfortable, somewhat dated ambiance.

Service is not bad, the bar comfortable and well stocked, quality of food about average.

A romantic place, well worth a visit for the wine selection alone. Foodies may be disappointed...

Went last night. They accommodated is as a party of 10, in 10 mins notice! Absolutely exceptional food and exceptional service. Left a local vineyard with horrible service and came here and we spent more and had a better time. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back! Also I don’t remember our waiters name but he was fantastic and we appreciate him putting up with our rowdy bunch! Thanks again!

I haven't stayed here but visit often for dinner. The food is always delicious. Cozy ambience in winter but my favorite is eating on the lawn in the summer time. My only bit of feedback is that Brewster should upgrade to something nicer than plastic table/chairs on the lawn and add more fire pits.

They have a great by the bottle wine list, but by the glass is fair. The beet salad was tiny with extremely little greens. The entire thing was less than a half cup. The seafood chowder was amazing, the best thing on the menu that our group of 5 ordered. I ordered the salmon well done. Only the ends were well done, which were great, but two thirds of it were rare. I told the waiter but said I would take it home as a leftover as I wasn’t that hungry and cook it further. No reductions were taken and I didn’t ask. The waiter did apologize. The views of the lake (especially in summer) are worth it, but remember to order a bottle, not a glass.
