This was my first time there. If ever I'm in Hamilton I'll be back. The homemade bread was amazing!

This place has THE BEST oatmeal in the whole world. I prefer the "old way" they make it, which features sliced bananas, honey, slivered almonds, and a dollop of strawberry preserves. Perfect every time.

I had the “Shrooms” sandwich which was warm, crunchy, and one of the best portobello sandwiches I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious and I’d definitely come back. There were lots of appealing menu options to try and a “quiche of the day.” My friend got the daily special, a veggie sandwich and it was also delicious. The store was packed but our food still came out quick and the server was polite.

Love this little place! Always try to drop in when I'm staying in Hamilton. Low-key vibes, friendly service first thing in the morning, good food and coffee. If you're in the mood for something sweet, definitely give the rye maple walnut scone a try - I liked it so much I'll be trying to replicate it at home!
