Wonderful place! Such a unique experience. We ordered the dumplings, steamed buns, oysters, steak and pasta. Everything was delicious, but the steamed buns were my favorite! It’s all super fresh and made in house. Nice sized portions and price was very reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!
Some of the best food we’ve ever had. Each dish is perfectly crafted, from conception to execution. Truly a one of a kind experience. Highly recommend!
What an absolute gem of a restaurant in Brockport, NY! Rico is a phenomenal chef with the best team around him! Everything is super fresh and FULL of flavor. The hospitality and great vibes are just the icing on top making this a MUST-GO spot!! Highly highly recommend! Thank you guys we will be back ASAP!
Top tier food, wish I lived closer so I could go every day🤤Definitely plan on making this a monthly must visit spot. Everything made fresh in front of you, amazing oysters…you will not be disappointed!!
From start to finish, Thistle 122 is an absolute delight that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique and top quality dining experience in the Rochester area. You’ll be seated around a counter, where you can cozy up to your dinner date, or make new friends nearby. (If you are looking for a more private dining experience at a table, you will be better served elsewhere, but I’m a fan of the concept.) The focal point is an open brick oven, where you can view your meal being cooked on the fire. I took my girlfriend here, and we were both blown away by the creativity and exceptional execution of the dishes. I had oysters (cooked), dumplings, a tomato and burrata salad, scallops over bucatini pesto, and a decadent chocolate dessert (the desserts are all made in house). My girlfriend had the steam buns, chicken entree, and the same dessert I did. We shared some bread. Needless to say, we were stuffed! Believe me when I say that everything was prepared and cooked to perfection, and even the bread was fantastic (with bone marrow butter)! The setting is unpretentious, but the food is at least the equal of the best available in greater Rochester, at prices that may pleasantly surprise you. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
