I came here about 5-6 weeks ago, when it was fairly new. It was a Sunday, Sundays are busiest at diners of this nature. We came in with 4 adults and 4 kids. It took about 5 minutes to get sat, the waitress came on over roughly 3-5 min after we settled and took our drink order. It went well. Nice hot coffee just how you like it after a rough night, steamy home fries with a little spice to add to the deliciousness and friendly service. The food was great. I had my corn beef had and eggs, my lady had pancakes, kids had their food and ours as usual, Ma had omelette. Great food, staff and newly opened restaurant!
Sunday Breakfast after church, slow service had to wait for coffee and tea and wait again for refill, actually walked up to counter to be told we will bring to the table and still waited! Had to asks for silverware and didn’t get correct number of napkins. No teaspoons only soup spoons. You have to read menu carefully and then Ask questions. A beef hash omelette does not come with hash browns! No gluten free options. Our breakfast was good when we got it after a wait. When I asked for hot sauce I was told “I only have two hands” !! Service really needs to improve!
This is definitely my new favorite!! And they opened recently! So come show them some love and get some delicious fresh coffee and scrumptious breakfast/lunch. I’m so glad East Rochester has this place, let’s help our local economy 💕.
The food is absolutely outstanding and the wait staff is so kind. The wait for the food was reasonable.
I read another review saying the food came
out as a sandwich—there is something on the menu that is meant to come out as a breakfast sandwich, and they are foods you wouldn’t typically see together on one bite. We ordered this and it was soooooo so good! Wish I could go every weekend 😎
Food is pretty good. They put process American cheese on all their eggs so if you’re not into that type of thing order with no cheese. You have to read their menu very carefully. Half of their food will come not as expected. Two times now I’ve ordered something and it’s come out as a sandwich. “Eggs, bacon, toast” and then it comes out as a sandwich. “Eggs, homefries, corn beef hash, toast” and then you get a sandwich. The best thing for going for this place is the coffee, price, and nice staff.
