Salena's Taqueria

I am a fan of Salena’s , so I was excited to try this new location. I ordered the enchilada combo (vegetarian/vegan) as well as a side of guacamole and chips. I’ve had both of these items before at the original location and thoroughly enjoyed them.
Unfortunately, something was not right this time. First of all, the enchiladas were listed on the menu as one black bean, one vegan cheese, and one quinoa. I got the one with cheese but the other two seemed to have some sort of mix of roasted vegetables in them. This was definitely not what I was expecting at all. It was just very mushy and strange tasting. The guacamole almost tasted sour. Unfortunately I couldn’t get past that and was not able to eat it.
Overall, the people working in that location were really nice and friendly, but I was disappointed with the food that I got which is unfortunate because I usually really enjoy Salena’s at the original location.
I want to add that I understand they are a new location with new staff, so there is likely to be kinks to work out. I was able to call and the situation was resolved quickly and efficiently which I really appreciated.
This experience definitely won’t stop me from continuing to support Salena’s and giving this location another try. I will of course also continue going to their restaurant as well.

We got burrito bowls from here and the amount of food you get for the price makes it such a good deal! All the food was delicious and we loved trying different sauces to see which we enjoyed the most.

I can’t eat gluten and it was easy to figure out what I could eat, plus I could mark online that I’m gluten free so the kitchen is aware.

100% recommend trying this place out for some tasty and affordable takeout :)
