Mongolian BBQ/Mochinut

Back when our daughter was going to school in Providence RI, we would eat at a place call Fire and Ice. Mongolian BBQ reminds us of that place. The food is good and they have a lot of choices. Both my wife and I were very impressed that the meat was frozen and kept cold. It was nice to know that it had just been sitting in on the cold table. At $5.95/lb it was very affordable. We would visit this place again.

Saw their GRAND OPENING sign from the road while looking for lunch options.

We both did the Mongolian BBQ for lunch, which was pretty good... and pretty fair pricing.

However, the standouts were the MochiNUTS donuts!🤯 Where the hell have these been my while life?🍩 I'm really glad we only got 4 plus a Ube ball.😋

I absolutely love Mongolian BBQ and they do a great job here. The ingredients were extremely fresh and there is a good selection to add to your bowl. More protein options than I'm used to as well. I love a good buffet but picking fresh veg and having everything cooked on the spot is so much better. If you aren't familiar with Mongolian BBQ, think Hibachi but you pick out everything yourself and then watch it cooked. What you get isn't set in stone and your creation is uniquely yours. This is my new go to for Asian.

I’ve went to Mochinut before and saw this new Mongolian BBQ place doing an opening discounts.
Food was excellent. All the choices of veggies and meat, sauce options by colored coins(?)
But because of the sales going on, there was lot of ppl waiting, and there was only 3 cooks, cashier was at the both bbq cashier/restocking bowls and also at mochinut store making boba tea.
Expect the wait before you go especially on weekends.
Definitely visiting again.
