Palmer's Direct To You Market

Love to shop here. Two real home runs are - Rack of Lamb and Corned Beef. Never had better than these two items.

I don't really have anything bad to say. Food is excellent and well priced. I go here for lunch often. Fish fry is the best in Rochester, friend clam strips are amazing, fried chicken sandwich is huge and delicious. Everything is fresh and prepared well. You really get the "direct to you" feel. My only knock is that pick up/take out is a little clunky of a process that's all. That's not going to stop me from going here that's for sure.

Went here for the fish fry... disappointed.
Fish was fresh and well seasoned, but was luke warm and not crispy. It clearly sat under the warmer way too long, fries had the same problem and coleslaw wasn't good. For a counter service place not acceptable, serve the fish right after it's out of the fryer. We also had the buffalo chicken tenders which we liked better. They were lightly battered, moist with good wing sauce.

Based on this visit I can't understand the glowing fish fry reviews.

Love it there! The staff are great about what you want and how they can help you. We always get wonderful cuts of meat! Delicious also.

So it was my 1st time coming to Palmer's Direct. I knew going into the store I was going to enjoy my visit. A small sampling of medium rare tenderloin and a pleasant smile from the young lady in the front of the store providing that sample. I enjoy things like that. She told us a bit about the store; actually a lot. We went about our way to browse the fresh cuts of meats, seafood ( fresh and frozen ). We ultimately walked out of the store with 2 12oz African frozen lobster tails, a thick cut porterhouse steak and a cab NY strip steak. The price was unbelievable. I am going to make it a point to find my way back for more great buys. Thanks tons for making my Saturday night dinner such a perfect meal!!
