SeaBreeze Lakeview Hots

I’d like to tell you about my personal experience at Lakeview Hots. My story begins in February, 2018. I had read about them on FB and decided that the wife (aka The CEO) and I would give them a try. As I have posted in the past the food is awesome and staff very friendly. This started us on a visit once or twice a week for something to eat. My CEO had several medical problems which made it difficult for her to walk and needed to use a walker. Whenever we came in we were always greeted with a HI from them making you feel more like family not just another customer. Fast forward to the middle of November, The CEO was hospitalized because of an increased amount pain and weakness and as a result she was placed in a nursing/rehabilitation center. Every time our daughter, grandson or myself came in before we even sat down it was “how’s mom”, grandma or the CEO doing” and then when it was quite Kelly, Brittany, Bethany or Chris would come over and sit and get the latest update on her. Then in February, 2019 she lost her fight after our 51 ½ years together. Even now 4 months after her passing I still get the Hi John when I come in and when time permits the questions are now how you doing and offer me support. For that I have to say THANK YOU to the entire crew there for helping get thru this difficult time in my life.

Visited for the first time on a beautiful August evening. We were attracted to this place by the picnic tables out front, which offered a nice view of nearby Lake Ontario. The menu was ample and featured a lot of good choices. While this is a hot dog/ cheeseburger kind of establishment, it does a good job for what it is. Our food was delicious and prepared promptly. We were satisfied with the quality and the prices...very reasonable. Our server, the young lady who took our order inside behind the counter, was very pleasant and greeted us warmly and politely...that was nice- and appreciated. She also brought our meal outside to us as we sat at one of the picnic tables, looking out at the lake. We also enjoyed looking across the street at the crowds enjoying the roller coasters at Sea Breeze. We left saying that the place was worth visiting in the future. I would recommend this place to family and friends, it's a winner!

Great food best burger I have had in a long time. Fast and friendly service. First visit will be having more visits.

The staff are so nice and they serve wonderful food!! Nice and quiet and have outdoor seating which is a plus. The cooking time isn’t long and the place isn’t very packed in the afternoons which is nice after a long time at Seabreeze. I would recommend this place..

The staff were all fantastic. My daughter has a peanut allergy and our waitress was knowledgeable about all the food safety issues that concerned her. The cook came out and talked to to her to help her know that the food was safe and he was aware that she had an allergy. Even though my daughter did not eat this time, I think she might next time, and that is a win for us. We truly appreciate all the time they took help make her feel safe.

As for the food, it is staple Rochester area foods. I had the beef on wack and it was great. My husband told me I had to try the horseradish (which I think is one of the most vile condiments in existence) on my sandwich and much to my surprise, it was tasty! The rest of our group had other standard area fare, red hots, white hots, burgers, with hot sauce (which is a meat sauce added on top of the meat sandwich). It definitely was tasty, and I'll be happy to back next time we visit my in-laws.
