Chakara Sushi & Bar

My husband and I finally were able to get away for a date night, and we were happy we chose Chakara. The display of our food was classy and the food was excellent. We have only tried the sushi and the rolls here, but there were very good. We will be back!

I meet my friend here often. The wide variety of menu items and the excellent food quality brings us back. We never meet anywhere else, it's so good here. I strongly recommended it.

This place is like a hidden treasure, seriously. Every time I go there, I cannot believe there isn't a line down the street. The food is incredible. The level of finesse in the presentation is something to be seen for some of the dishes. The cook on the vegetables and meats are perfect EVERY time. The portions are perfect size and the price is not bad either. The staff is always friendly and hard working. There is also a sushi chef making fresh sushi for your dish (right in the dining room area). They offer a selection of Japanese alcoholic drinks (including beers). In all honesty, if there is 1 place in this city I recommend you eat at... it's Chakara!

Very good. The sushi looked so pretty almost too good to eat! Everything was delicious.

This was the 4th time we have been there. There were 6 of us for dinner in the middle of the week. Our food arrived piping hot, colorful veggies and delicious sauces. Everyone ordered something different. I almost posted pics of our empty plates. The sushi bar was beautiful with fresh looking fish. Quite a few patrons were ordering it. My mother in law said the red wine was delicious! We met the chef on a previous visit and he did not speak English and was a very humble man. Worth the trip... great selections? Sorry, no pics...you will not be disappointed!
