Bobo's Chicken Shack

FANTASTIC FOOD! I'd read about this place but even all the great reviews didn't do it justice. The fried ribs, mac & cheese and yams were all beyond delicious. It's well worth going out of your way to get this great stuff. Enjoy!

I've hit most of the wing spots in Monroe county. These are the Best .. Wings .. In .. Town! You will get way more food than the cost would imply. The yams and mac are fantastic. Must hit for everyone.

The atmosphere is made up of just a few chairs and small waiting area, I think this may be the only thing I have to say that I'd change. The food was amazing and I'm very surprised this cuisine surpassed my expectations by far. The woman taking my order took it and answered any questions I had without getting annoyed. The food was huge portions of what I had ordered. I REALLY recommend this restaurant if you have a few minutes to spare. I was told the wait was about 20 minutes and when I came back i realized it is because they make your food fresh by order. The man in the back told me to enjoy as he bagged the food, and then off i went. The Mac and cheese and yams are absolutely delicious. I ordered the shrimp dinner which was sauteed with peppers and onions and put on a bed of rice. Everything was absolutely remarkable. Thank you, and I will revisit again.

I CANNOT get enough of those yams. So sweet but still firm, not overcooked. The cabbage is super flavorful, cooked just right. That sauce of the BOBO chicken is DELICIOUS. They are my favorite spot in Rochester!

This food so good make you LICK your fingers and chew the bones. Young lady who took our order was very pleasant and answered our questions without acting like she was being bothered. BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!! Was told our wait was 20-25 minutes, food came quicker. The portions were outstanding!!! For this I would gladly wait an hour with absolutely NO COMPLAINTS!!!
