Fun atmosphere and amazing service! Went with some girlfriends for food and drinks. When we got there it was packed but the owner kept an eye out for a table for us and got us sat in a reasonable time! The food was even better, and you get a good amount so I was able to take some home for leftovers!
The food is AWESOME. The latke frites are the thing you never knew you needed, but you do. We came in with expectations about those and they were surpassed. The sauce combo was perfection. We decided to roll the dice on the Buffalo nuggz. Chickpea ‘shroom nuggets? Ok. I’ll bite. And I’m so glad I did. These came with three items to dip and stack. I tried them separately and it was good. Together though? Perfection. The house fries are on point: crispy outside, soft potato innards, nicely seasoned. The bulgogi meatball sub was just so damn good. The soft roll. The guchujang. The kimchi flavor. Bangin good. We split these items between 2 people and it was perfect.
Best new restaurant in town. The food is utterly incredible, the service is warm and friendly. Often the owner is serving. The atmosphere is so fun. The bar side is more low key, the dining room has a disco ball which can feel a little chaotic but it’s well decorated and quiet. The side pull Genny makes our hometown beer taste luxurious. Highly highly recommend the latke frites, the nuggets, the burger, and most of all the pastrami plate. It can feed two and is worth the price I promise.
We live around the corner so we were thrilled to see Jack Ryan's rise from the ashes and become Jack's Extra Fancy. Stopped in for drinks and a bite - the beef short rib was amazing. At almost 40 bucks we hesitated, but it was enough for more than one person (though he polished it off with zest lol). Atmosphere is awesome, music playing but not so loud that you can't hear your friends, service staff is top notch - attentive without being hovery. Smashburger and fries were also delicious. Vibe seems to be an upscale version of a dive bar - like they have PBR based cocktails, Genny, Miller High Life, etc., but they're not just serving them, they're also using them in bougie cocktails. Overall, clean, pretty, relaxed - we'll be back!
What a revamp! Young, middle aged and old people co-existing at a bar.
Great short menu- no confusion about what to order.
Has vegan options; couple of them but has vegan options!
No Guinness, but has Irish influence from the past as Jack Ryan’s.
Come in, you’ll love it!
