Park Avenue Pub

The food was very good! Slightly too dark of ambient lighting for me though. Here is why it didn't get 5 stars. I run a company and make every effort to hold back frustration with employees in the public eye. This was not true of the waiter (I believe I heard him say his name was Joel?). It breaks my heart to see or hear employees being berated, embarrassed or heckled. Life is too short to be treated by anyone that way. Do unto others and treat others the way you would like to be treated, privately or publicly! So rude!

My wife and I went for the first time. Our server was not the best, I have to be honest, yet the food was amazing. I was hesitant at first when I saw the prices on some of the sea food items at first, but decided to give it a shot based on previous reviews. We will definitely be returning repeatedly to gradually cross things off the menu. We ordered 5 appetizers, a bottle of wine and 2 main entrees. We split the apps and were to full to eat the main meals. Even reheated later, they were still good and I can't wait to try them again fresh from the kitchen. This place is definitely worth a first try, and nothing like what I expected with Pub in the name. It's much more than that. Great job guys.

From the minute you step into the door, you know you're in for a special treat. The ambiance is wonderful and everyone greeted us with smiles. We were treated on our first visit as if we came in every week. It worked, we have been back many times since our first experience. The menu is varied and they offer a three-course option with a menu that changes frequently for only $25. They are also very accommodating when it comes to taking special requests. One member of our party has a gluten allergy and they made a special arrangement for that persons dessert on the $25 menu. Great service, well-stocked bar with a good wine list, but the food says it all. This is a don't miss place on Park Ave but I recommend reservations.

What a fabulous Saturday evening we spent with friends at the Park Avenue Pub. The service was friendly and professional and the food was excellent. For a special occasion (or anytime, actually!), the Park Avenue Pub can't be beat. I ordered the crab cake salad which featured real crab, my husband was treated to their shrimp risotto and our friends ordered the steak and lamb chops. Each of us raved about the meal!
