Mary was our server she was attentive, friendly and gave great suggestions for food and drink. Get the margarita has a tajin rim! The shrimp and grits were some of the best I’ve had in Rochester and huge portions my husband got the steak special of the night and that was amazing too. The place is newly renovated. It’s elegant, simple and a welcoming atmosphere.

Went to the classic two weekends ago to check it out. We are long time lovers of its sister restaurant Roam Cafe, so we were very excited to dine there. The owner Drew did not disappoint! The food was excellent as always , and offered some “classic” dishes with different flavor profiles! For Roam lovers this restaurant offers a familiar vibe with a different take on dinning. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend checking this place out!

My first time at The Classic did not disappoint! Deliciously cooked shrimp and grits and my husband said his steak was fantastic. Cooked to perfection and flavorful. A wonderful local business owner by great people. I will definitely be back!

Love this new spot! Lives up to its name with stylish/timeless dishes, exceptional cocktails, and top-notch service. Atmosphere is both lively and intimate–perfect for date night!
