“I was there with some friends to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived the hostess had no record of our reservation. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us. I ordered the 10 oz sirloin rare. Now anyone who likes their steak rare pretty much can tell by touch if it's rare or not. On cutting into it I saw hardly any pink and sent it back with the waitress. She brought it back out saying the chef or rather cook said it was rare. I just couldn't tell because the light wasn't as good as it was in the kitchen! Another friend ordered the same steak medium rare but when hers was cooked incorrectly she got a perfectly redone steak. Another ordered the fish fry which looked wonderful but was underdone. The shrimp scampi of another diner was deemed delicious, as were the french fries, and our server, Taylor, was wonderful. Since it appears they can do some things right I would go back, perhaps for lunch and hope there was someone else cooking.”

“Beautiful area! The service is fantastic! The beer is good and the prices are perfect. I can't speak enough to how awesome the service was. The food was mediocre. I ordered the mac and cheese with lobster but it was.. watery. It truly tasted like when you put too much water into a Mac and cheese cup. I brought this up and was immediately offered a different choice and wasn't made to feel like I wasted anyone's time. The Philly cheese steak was good! I enjoyed it a lot! Albeit a bit salty. Definitely will be back!”

“Such good prices! I love the location and if you go on Sunday you really get a good deal. Our waitress was definitely friendly but we were actually laughing at how hard it was to get someone. When we walked in no one greeted us. We hadn't been there before so we didn't know how we were supposed to fill out the menus on our table. We waved a girl down and ordered and got our food. But she was never seen again. The food was fine, so we didn't need her I guess. We would have gotten more to drink but it took so long to get someone we figured we should just pay and leave. I'll keep going because of the great food and pricing but the service really is funny. I've only been twice, maybe it'll be different sometime.”

“My husband and I celebrated our rehearsal dinner at The Overlook. Our close family and friends complimented us profusely on the beauty of the venue, especially our guests who came from out of town. I have one picture of everyone standing looking out at the boats passing by which made me say, “I could not have picked a better venue”. The BBQ style dinner was delicious.
