They were really busy when we picked up our order and the food was OK. New restaurant, I get it. Working out the kinks. I wanted to give them another try, and I'm glad I did. Add this place as another top option to get a Plate in Rochester. And being a combo ice cream shop makes this Hots a bit different from others on the east side. The plate I chose was a cheeseburger / chicken finger duet. The burger was good but the fingers were fantastic as they were both tender and crispy. Their mac salad has great flavor on its own which is always a good sign for plates. But what was really enjoyable was the fact that when I requested my home fries to be well done they actually came out crispy and not soggy. Another added surprise was that their meat sauce had some heat to it which is not common but very much welcome. Definitely worth a return trip some time! Also, keep an eye out for their discount Plate nights, half price milkshake times, and featured Costanza Sausages.

Great spot for a burger and a milkshake, best milkshake I have had in a while from anyone. Friendly staff, quick service and cheaper than competitors. Will be returning.

We decided to try this out after seeing driving by it and seeing a menu. We used a coupon and enjoyed the meal. Service was a little slow but they were busy and had large orders ahead of us so it was totally understandable as to why, and they said sorry for the wait which we didn’t mind. Everything was good, and there are other items we might try again at some point.

I love this place! I’ve tried a Slop Plate, grilled chicken sandwich, and the onion rings. All of them were fantastic. The onion rings were especially good and among the best I’ve ever had. The plate was yummy and I LOVED their home fries! They were super crispy. The chicken sammy was so good that I’ve had it twice! The menu is huge and they have endless burger toppings and appetizers. Nice staff, clean, and well-run restaurant! Half of the restaurant is also an ice cream shop so bring your appetite and sweet tooth!
