Mama Lor's Lake Road

Absolutely love the new renovations to the lake road restaurant. The outside seating is very inviting especially when the weather is nice. The staff are very friendly and accommodating especially if you have young children. The restaurant is well run, the food choices are delicious, solid portions, and reasonably priced. Nice family atmosphere, never had a meal I was not satisfied with. One of my favorites is the fish fry for dinner. breakfast also has a lot of wonderful options, I love when they serve the seasonal pumpkin pancakes special. Stop in and try it out you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely dine again and again! Thank you for a wonderful experience every time.

Super cute and clean space, airy and open. A nice patio area out front for a nice day like today. Servers super friendly. Had the best Buffalo cauliflower “wings” I’ve ever had, by far. Very good apple pecan blue cheese salad. Only complaint was the boyfriend’s steak on his salad was very tough. Otherwise , liked it a lot and will definitely come back. Didn’t realize there was a bar inside and interested to see if they decide to stay open a little later and have some live music which would be perfect.

Food was really good. Meatballs were delicious and the meatloaf was really good. Atmosphere was really nice. They did a great job. Can't wait to try breakfast.

The best part of this outing was the food, as it should be. Everyone was very happy with their dishes. Reasonably priced and generous portions. The food was 5/5, hands down.

The problem is the layout. There is no entryway. The main door opens into the dining room. It was chilly when we went. We sat maybe 20' from the door. Each time it was opened, we got a rush of cold air. It was tolerable when it was 50-degrees out but I see this being a major issue come the winter.

I would absolutely come back, but would hesitate to in the cold weather unless the issue above is corrected.
