“Wow wow wow. I'd give Caribbean Heritage six stars if Google would let me. Walked here from Corn Hill on a summer night and was absolutely blown away. The generous helping of curry goat was the best I've ever had, and the plantains are fire. But the big surprise was the zucchini and butternut side, which was ridiculously flavorful. I didn't even consider leaving anything on the plate, and halfway thought through the consequences of eating the bones. Just as good as the meal was the conversation I had at the bar with Jerome Underwood, the co-owner (his wife is the chef; they started the restaurant this year after running a successful catering business for 15 years). Jerome was warm and engaging but never overbearing. I'm excited to see him again and sample the rest of the menu. FYI, for vegan and vegetarian brethren: there are several practiced dishes on the menu that are vegan (unusual for a Caribbean restaurant in my experience), because Jerome, a practicing Rastafarian, has been a vegetarian for forty years. Definitely a place at the table here for all inclinations.”

“They have a steady supply and selection of slices to choose from when you walk in. They have great New York style pizza and their portions are large. I personally recommend their Sweet and Tangy Chicken Bacon Pizza. It has never let me down. The saltiness of the bacon and chicken juxtaposed the sweet savoriness of the Country Sweet Sauce (I can't confirm its Country Sweet Sauce, but its pretty close).”

“My wife and I went for the first time. Our server was not the best, I have to be honest, yet the food was amazing. I was hesitant at first when I saw the prices on some of the sea food items at first, but decided to give it a shot based on previous reviews. We will definitely be returning repeatedly to gradually cross things off the menu. We ordered 5 appetizers, a bottle of wine and 2 main entrees. We split the apps and were to full to eat the main meals. Even reheated later, they were still good and I can't wait to try them again fresh from the kitchen. This place is definitely worth a first try, and nothing like what I expected with Pub in the name. It's much more than that. Great job guys.”

“My parents started bring me to Charlie's Frog Pond just after they opened in the 70's. It's a place I still love to go to, but don't get the chance that often. The food is always good, the coffee while others say is not the best, is always good to me, and I prefer it to other places around here. The Frittata is the best around, and is a go to when I'm there. But almost everything here is good. It's worth the wait if they are packed.”

Outdoor seating is definitely a plus. A little on the small side so it fills up quick, but that's definitely part of the charm. Great macaroons!”
