Love the food. Not cheap but it's worth the price.
Also great selection of on tap beers.
I live in NYC, land of ubiquitous dining opportunities. My husband has family 'upstate' - so we have had the good fortune to have dined at Table several times. We make it a point to go there, whenever we can. We love it. The food IS GOOD. Some dishes are amazing. Know this: Table is not a NYC high-dining experience. This is a small restaurant with a small staff. (I've only 'seen' Chef Aaron and his co/?sous-chef in the open kitchen. ) But you will also not come away with a NYC high-dining bill. The entree price points are in the mid $20s. The portions are large. Really very reasonable. The appetizers, deserts are also large. This weekend we all had a 'chicken soup' that was unlike anything I've ever tasted; incredibly dense with ingredients and flavor. And our table shared the mushroom flat-bread - yumm! (At times I wonder, though it wouldn't be fair to the chef/staff, if I shouldn't just order an appetizer and desert and be done with it. I would be full and happy.) As it is, we plan ahead by skipping lunch and allowing ourselves to have low guilt while eating all 3 courses. Or you can just eat part of your meal and they'll give you boxes to take the rest home.
Chef Aaron is devoted to his home/community, locally sourced ingredients, etc. His ice creams (to complement his deserts) this week were local: My husband had Hickory and I had the Chai. Both fun as well.
Chef Katovitch is amazing and with his sous chefs they do a great job preparing daily items. Though it is located in a rural town, the meals match that of Boston or New York City's fine dinning. Exceptional wait staff who truly cater to your needs. Supporting local beer and wine makes for a truly great dinning experience.
Met some acquaintances for dinner- excellent food
My wife and I have visited a couple of times, each time we have been very pleased with the meal. I don't think you could go wrong dropping by for lunch or dinner at The Table.
Back again February 2017 and another great meal. Back again November 2018 and a great meal, we try to get her about once every other month and the meal is always good.
