I have been coming here off and on for many years, the place has a cheerful atmosphere and the staff is always accommodating and attentive. My favorite dish is the beef rib soup and that's what I order always. It's a savory beef bone broth with the perfect amount of beef ribs, its accompaniment of rice and beans is flavorful as well. They also make very good Spanish Coffee to which I always end my meal. It's a Hempstead staple for quite some time and can get very busy at times. Prices are average but the portions are above average. You will enjoy your meal and can do much much worse in this part of town.

The staff here are very helpful, the restaurant is pretty big with 2 sections and a bar. It's nice for families to come eat or friends. The food is great!

The food is awesome as always but I give 3 stars due to the service. they always seem to forget about you half way into the time being there whether its busy or not and when you are not completely done they take your plate away assuming you were done eating...if I could I would of rated 3.5 stars and not 3

Delicious food, fast service, clean restaurant. Went at 7:30pm on a Wednesday and it was a great choice for dinner. Ordered the rostisery chicken platter and it's good enough for two it comes with fries, soup, rice, salad, beans and half a chicken.

The food portions are pretty big. They are generous with their food orders and it tastes good. I love their "Typical platter". This is their signature dish. You must try it. RESTAURANT DECOR IS FAIR BUT it's not the cleanest place.
