food is good..cheaper..but the music it is to loud..not good
Good
Food is good but it took almost 40 minutes to get a takeout order after taking 15 minutes to place an order. To be somewhat fair, there was only one waitress for the food and bar (beers only) but she also avoided me because she didn't speak English. I had to force her to give me a pen so I could write down my order. I ordered 2 mixed bean pork and cheese pupusas, 1 chicken enchilada, and 1 baleada regular, something I had never seen before. I looked it up on google and decided to give it a go. It was the most interesting of the bunch. A thick masa cake like tortilla smeared with refried beans folded over and stuffed with scrambled eggs (blah), and a lovely slice of perfectly ripe avocado. It was the best of the three items we tasted.
The chicken enchilada was a surprise and apparently different from a. Mexican enchilada. It was a delicious crispy shell with the curtido cabbage slaw typical usually of the accomplishment to pupusas, and another perfectly ripe slice of avocado, some shredded chicken and a sprinkling of cheddar cheese. Interesting but since I am not a fan of their curtido and was hoping for a more Mexican style enchilada I wasn't thrilled. The pupusas were ok a bit light on cheese and on the thin side. Again have had better examples elsewhere.
Nice
