Oak Chalet

Came here years ago with my family and loved it. Went back for the first time as an adult with a lady. Great food, friendly staff. Highest recommendation. The goulash is incredible.

Great place for German dishes and German atmosphere. The service was prompt and helpful. We found our meals less heavy than other German restaurants we've tried and we really enjoyed it. Prices are a little above moderate but well worth it. The ambiance at Christmas was wonderful, but it's nicely decorated year round. Good for both couples and larger groups.

Enjoyed great meal with my kids there other night. Good selection of German cuisine and great service. Wish my mom was here to enjoy it with us.

The Oak Chalet has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants. There are so many delicious German dishes, but we also really enjoy the atmosphere and the way the staff makes you feel like family. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem!

I was very surprised with this restaurant today. It brings you back in time and you feel like you're eating in the black forest. They have a very nice luncheon menu and also specialty menus that you might want to use for a luncheon or some other occasion. The waitress was very delightful and there's not many places that you can get a chopped Herring salad with Beats. You will not be disappointed and your money will be well spent. I certainly will return to this restaurant someday soon. Plenty of free parking and you don't have to take a major highway to get there so give it a shot and enjoy some good German food.
