IL Cantone Cafe

IL Cantone has been our favorite Italian restaurant since they opened. I've always enjoyed whatever I had from pizza to ravioli, seafood and right to dessert. It's very cozy and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it for lunch, dinner or just dessert!

Very nice place! Food is excellent, service is amazing, and the bread is to die for. Portions for appetizers—and in general—are pretty large and almost everything is one size, so come very hungry and bring some extra money. The place is also very clean, the staff is welcoming, and everyone else seems to also enjoy the food.

I came back about 4 times now this past month and haven't been disappointed! The location isn't the best—it's in Hempstead which generally isn't the best of neighborhoods—and there's little to no parking. There are also not too many tables; I have yet to go there on a busy night but I'm sure there'll be a wait if you go on one. Overall, I highly recommend Il Cantone Cafe if you're in the area and are looking for some really good Italian food!!

We been coming here for 4 years . We got engaged here and today celebrating our first year anniversary.. we love Giacomo!! The best pasta e fagioll in the world!!

Great food and service. They always have a good selection of pies and a great abundance of specialty rolls that are handmade every day. I highly recommend trying them since they have a wide variety to choose from.
