Taku Asian Bistro

Good sushi with creative roll combinations. Miso soup and pad Thai were also very good. Deserts definitely missed the mark.

Being new to sampling sushi I found Taku to be very good. I thought there was a huge selection, maybe typical for sushi places, but fun named rolls with local names and references. Pricing was fair, service was quick. Nice drink menu as well. If you have sushi all the time this is a must try. If you are new it is a good starting place without breaking the bank.

Good sushi and service. A couple drinks that were on the menu weren't available but it didn't effect the meal at all and the waitress seemed apologetic. All in all a good spot for good sushi with plenty of easy parking in a nice area.

Good food...about as good as other restaurants with similar fare. I liked the thin slices of cucumber they placed in my glass of sake. I hadn't had that any place else and I enjoyed it.
The decor in this place is what drew me in. The exterior was unassuming but the interior felt plush and modern. Staff was very nice and the service overall was excellent.
I dined around lunch time on a Friday. Takeout counter seemed busy but didn't interfere with dining experience. With a few other diners seated, it wasn't too crowded either. Would highly recommend.
