The Cuban

The food was excellent. The service was all right. However, when it came time to settle the bill, it took forever to get our server to come by. It then took forever and a day to get the check. Finally, it took forever and counting for him to come back and get the check. I was going to pay in plastic, but I got tired of waiting. I left cash and showed my frustration in the tip. True, it got busy, but it took about a half hour from finish to leaving. We never had to wait that long on previous visits even when it was busy.

We were a party of 4 - 3 of us had great meals, and service was really good, neat setting too. One person in our group was served a small hair in her salad that soured her experience. Overall a nice restaurant and if I am back in the area would likely be back.

Great atmosphere and food . Servers are attentive . The fun is truly contagious and you feel as if transported to a place in Cuba . They have live shows and bands on some weekdays and weekends. Get there before 8:00 pm on weekends to avoid having to wait for a table. Great to see this type of restaurant coming to Long Island

The experience here was one to remember. I wanted something I've never had before and I got the oxtail which was AWESOME. We came on a Thursday and the live band was great. They were complete with colorful party lights and the musicians were very skilled with great sound. This really added to the atmosphere. I love this place. Multiple birthdays going on including servers singing with Maracas and pouring rum into the mouth of the birthday person. A fun place that I would absolutely return to.
