Left Coast Kitchen & Cocktails

This place has great food, some of the best cocktails around and awesome staff. I always feel welcome when I come here. However, I had to take off a star for my most recent visit when I saw some of the behaviors of the new busboy. I saw him do a few disturbingly unhygienic things while "cleaning" the tables. Avalon was taking care of me and when she saw my dismay she cleaned my table for me. She really went out of her way to give me outstanding service!

This is our 3rd time eating at Left Coast. This review is for 1pm on a Sunday. Hostess was great and sat us quickly. Showing up without a reservation for a group of 4 or more is probably not a good idea at that time, but we got lucky.

We forgot about the fixed brunch menu which is where I would like to see Left Coast improve. They have an explanation on the menu regarding why it is a fixed menu and there are few, or no variations - small kitchen, they know best, etc etc - but the problem with that is if you want to go with kids or anyone who is picky it just becomes a cumbersome experience. Maybe this is there way of saying no kids and surround yourself with new people?

Scrambled eggs with cream cheese, corn and chive was good. Wife and friends said chicken and waffles were good as well. Service was ok - she was very nice but covering a lot of tables.

If service was a bit better and brunch menu had a wider selection / flexibility this review would easily be 4 stars.

We were lucky enough to find Left Coast when we were looking for a place for our wedding rehearsal dinner. After trying the food and seeing the space, we knew we had to have it there. Chef Chris and his staff were so friendly and easy to work with. We had the entire front of the restaurant for our party and he designed a menu just for us that people are still talking about, and the drinks were amazing as well. Couldn’t have gone better.

First picture is the remains of Buffalo turkey wings which my boyfriend highly recommends. More meat than chicken wings obv so less work. Second picture is the AMAZING gluten free macaroni. Even if you're not gluten free give it a try. They have a lot of other gluten free options/modifications too! Also they give you popcorn before your meal and it's so good.

The berry French toast was amazing ! The berry compote on the top was all fresh berries. I also tried a little of the biscuits and gravy and it was also so delicious. My friend had the lobster hash and the portions are huge !! If you are considering one of the hash’s its def big enough to share. My 5 starts are for the impeccable service. Our waitress was so nice!! We called ahead to see if there was a long wait as it was a Sunday and they were so nice on the phone. I def wanna come back for dinner.
