Bayou Jones

Fun. Good southwestern menu.

Went there tonight for LI restaurant week. Enjoyed every minute there. The food was great (omg the gumbo!!!!) very big portions. The service was very good, the waitress was nice, we had a lovely conversation with her. Will definitely go back and recommend to my friends.

I went to this place for the 1st time with my boyfriend yesterday. We had no idea it was even there but everybody should know about it. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Great flavor and spices. The service was also extremely attentive and staff made us feel very welcome. A great southern flair experience!

Needs sangria. Honor partial gift certificates from RSJones and certainly should have honored Bayou certificates. Need to build clientele not turn them away. Give a little to get a little. Stay consistent with music. Bar used to be full. Create a warm inviting place people want to come back to. More specials to get us in the door. Good luck

I was so disappointed when the original Bayou closed that I never thought I’d get my fix of the best gumbo around! So happy they re-opened with the same great food of the past plus some great new additions! The only cons of the new place is that drink menu is a little smaller and on the expensive side, also there’s no longer that southern Mardi-Gra feel of the place. They went towards a more modern craft bar that just doesn’t feel like a southern kitchen anymore. Bring back all the colored lights and decorations covering every inch of the walls!!!
