I had a wonderful surprise birthday party here; it was an afternoon tea event. We had multiple pots of tea in different flavors and three tiered stands with scones, finger sandwiches, and lovely desserts throughout the table. The clotted cream, orange infused butter, and jam were just delightful! The service were excellent and very accommodating. I would most definitely go back here! Thank you such a beautiful experience!
Went for my brother's birthday, the food and tea were delicious. We had the Queen's tea or something that has a 3 tier sets of snacks and 4 pots of unlimited tea
This was a great experience. Food is outstanding. Best of all took a cooking class with my wife..
Great place for a special breakfast or brunch. Heard the teas were great, but went with the coffee anyway. Not disappointed. Great basket of scones to start followed by two delicious breakfasts. Crowded but found us a great table and didn't rush us at all.
What a charming spot! Our server, Matthew, I believe, provided informative, friendly service, though we lingered for quite some time, since we were four family members visiting for the first time. My spinach and bacon quiche was light and fluffy and flavorful, and tea service is delightful. My sister ordered the pot pie, and was told it was beef and vegetables, but oddly, it had gnocchi under the crust. The gravy and other ingredients were tasty (I sampled some), but it was a giant gut-buster. Our aunt's squash and sausage hand pie was unbalanced in flavor--more squash and pastry than any real discernible sausage flavor, but she said it was good. Our other aunt insisted that we try the scones and cream afterward, so we did. They were yummy. It is an ambitious business to have breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. The location seems perfect for such a mission. It was a Sunday afternoon at 4 or so, and both sections were packed full, so they seem to be doing well.
