“Pizza is amazing, and if you want a real unexpected treat try there soups. The Chicken Soup is the best I have ever ever had. John the owner always has a welcoming smile on his face and a joke to tell. His brother Nick is grumpy in a funny way, but you end up staying because you want to hear what comes out of his mouth next. If pizza is not your thing then try there main dishes. The last time I was there they had to roll me out. There's always staff from the hospital in there eating so that should definitely tell you the food is great.”

“I had the cod sandwich, very good and a large portion. They use soy oil for the frying and am told they change it several times a day. I don't usually order deep fried food, but the cod sandwich was light to the pallet and not at all heavily greasy. There was no oily aftertaste either. It is an old time counter set up, no booths or tables but well worth a visit. My friend had the fried clams and found them delicious. The staff are close by behind the counter and appear to enjoy bantering with the customers. Some parking around the outside of the restaurant, otherwise on the local street corner. Must pay with cash or debitcard.”

The place is kind of small, so large groups may want to try an establishment with larger capacity seating. 8/15/2018 The past few times the food has been less than what it used to be. Smaller portions, no sour cream and sauce unless you ask. My last visit the steak quesadilla tasted like the cheese was sour. Don’t see the usual people behind the counter, perhaps ownership has changed? The food is definitely suffering for whatever the reason.”
