This is the real deal sushi house. Excellent food, a bit pricey

This place is really good. Food taste so fresh and flavorful. As a person who has lived in Japan I can honestly say this is as close to the real taste as it gets state side

Delicious food. Comfy atmosphere. If I'm ever in Long Beach again and I have the time, would definitely go again.

Service was eh. Water glass had something floating in it. Of course, they brought a new glass when we asked... However, service was SO slow. Waited 20 minutes for new glass and didn't get to place our order for at least an hour. In fact, a waitress came over to ask how everything was, as in are we finished and ready to pay... ?! She was surprised when we told her we didn't even get our food yet. She went to check on the order. We had to wait equally as long to get the food. And still, one order had part of the meal brought out WELL after everyone was done eating. All in all, I think our party of 5 was there for 3 hrs.

This aside, once the food got to the table it was very good. I would not go there to eat again, but I might order to go. (Hopefully it was just a busy night and not their norm.)
