    Stopped by today for lunch, only to discover to our disappointment that the Hut has closed. :( Shame, the owners were always so sweet and thoughtful. Mahalo to them, and happy journey in the future!

    While I think the staff here has improved over the years, they can still improve. The donuts however have improved exponentially. I had a chocolate donut with chocolate frosting. The donut itself was fresh and moist and fudgy, with not a hint of shortening or that greasy mouth feel. The frosting same thing, great flavor and creamy. Second donut was a chocolate coconut. Chocolate donut was same good quality as the first with the addition of nice sweet and fresh coconut shavings. Not sure if there is new management here or a new baker or both but my hat is off to the management and the staff. Nice job!
