Carlos Pizza Of Port Washington

We walked down the street and were halted by the smell of cheese, dough and spices coming from this place. We made a decision to try it for dinner and had no regrets. This is the kind of place where locals stop in to grab a slice of pizza throughout the night. This is the place where two Italian grandmothers will talk about how nice the delivery boy is when they see him walking back through the door. Friendly smiles and tasty pizzas (white pizzas too) will keep you coming back for more.

As a Chicagoan I highly enjoyed this NYC style pie! We got a few of their specialty slices to taste test (which was fun and something I’d recommend!). Minimal delivery fee, I think like $2, with NO delivery minimum!!!

Probably the best pizza by the slice place in PW. Not much of a sit-down restaurant - it does have a few booths mostly meant for a quick chow down - but does have a huge parking lot perfect for a quick night-time or weekend pick-up (LIRR during the day so watch for being ticketed). The chicken parm sub is pretty damn good too.

This has been the best pizza in Port Washington as long as I've lived here (15 years) and has never disappointed. Pies are reasonably priced and other food options are also delicious. My go to for that would be the eggplant parm hero. If you're looking for pizza or quick Italian fare here in Port, Carlos is certainly the place to go.
