AMAZING! We were driving through and saw that this place had great reviews so we decided to stop for a bite. Sooooo glad we did! It's more of a takeaway place but there is 4 counter top seats so we were happy to sit there. John was super friendly and awesome at giving us suggestions on how much to order. The four of us split rack of ribs, brisket, burnt ends, slaw, sweet po, baked beans, and of course corn bread! We will definitely be back!

HOLY SMOKES! Finally we got some good food around these parts, and let me tell you the Good Lord has blessed this man with the ability to create the best BBQ I have had this side of the Mason Dixon line. The wood is good my friends. I am a brisket man myself, and man he does it right, tender, juicy, nice dry rub of pepper. It passed my test, which is - do you eat the mixed up bits with the juices that are left on the plate after the meal... with this stuff, HECK yeah you do. I will say the BBQ sauce, the beans, and even the slaw have a unique home made flavor to them. I have yet to try the other stuff, but I will. It's really nice to finally have a take out place near me that is truly something special, let alone my favorite genre of food. And it's oh so sweet. I'd go on but I just had a half rack of those tasty ribs and I need a nap. I'll be coming back for more!

The brisket was really good. Had a nice bark of salt and pepper and a smokey jammy rendered fat layer. I like the TX style without the sauce (they did have it on the side). Greens beans were a really good side. They were crunchy, lightly salted and garlicky. The pit master, John, is doing a really great job and elevating the BBQ on LI. The owners and staff were really friendly. There is outdoor seating in the back. I don’t know if they plan on putting heaters out there for the fall but it’s a nice little area. I will be back.

Stopped by Stuey's based on review so I'm leaving my own! Ordered 2 lunch specials and had a nice chat with the owner. The portions were a little light for the price at first glace in my opinion, for the lunch special, however great BBQ is very hard to come by and this place is legit.

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich along with their BBQ beans and cornbread. Brought it in for a business lunch and it was fantastic. The perfect portion after enjoying it, just right. Satisfied but not overly full and I'm not a small fellow. The cucumber basil lemonade was also excellent.
