This is more of nightclub for people in their 50s and 60s than a restaurant. The music is so insanely loud. You will suffer some hearing loss if you go on a Saturday night, so bring some earplugs. I am not even joking; you need to bring ear protection. The food was pretty good for a club though. This is not a place for children.
It was like dining in an insane asylum. But once you surrender to the madness, you will have one hell of a great night. A conga line might break out and weave through the chairs while you dine, as pounding bass lines vibrate your ravioli across the table. The bus boys and waiters will even join in the fun and dance with you. It draws an older crowd of fun people looking to dance or mingle a bit.
Gluten free options are limited (the gf pasta was horrible), but everything else was wonderful! A strange place that bends genres (we'll call it "club dining"), but truly memorable. Lots of fun!!
So if I was rating this place on the food alone it would be a 2 star review. The food was not good at all. We went on a Saturday night and it was pay one price for family style dinner that they just bring out to you (you have no choices) and all you can drink wine, sangria and beer. The Sangria was very good. They play loud music like it is a club and everyone dances around which was fun but if you are looking to have a nice dinner and be able to have a conversation with the people you are with this is not the place. I do not know if that is how it is every night or maybe just on weekends. The waiters were very nice and did a great job. The place was overcrowded and they pop up tables all over the place which blocked doorways and seemed like a potential hazard if there was an emergency. So overall we had a lot of fun, the crowd was fun, they did a conga line and there was plenty of alcohol but the food was not good at all.
This place has delicious family-style Italian food! I had so many things & everything was great! It gets QUITE loud and crowded, so keep that in mind. I say it's well worth it, but just know it's not going to be some romantic peaceful night, or an evening of quietly chatting with friends. They were very accommodating during a rehearsal dinner I attended and took great care of the vegans in our party, checking back to make sure they felt there were enough options for them.
