    Great all around butcher excellent sandwiches and salads Also best egg sandwiches highly recommend it

    Pricey but the best meats on long island. Dennis, the owner, trained all the butchers so they are VERY knowledgable. My maternal grandfather was a butcher from northern Italy and my mother grew up in the depression. She could hold a quarter so tight the Eagle would scream.

    I got a rib roast from sal's almost 20 years ago for a holiday dinner. At 1st when my mother found out what it cost she was shocked but after the dinner she said it was worth it. She hadn't had a rib roast of that quality since my grandfather's butcher shop.

    Being a butcher is more than just the meats, it's knowing how to cook it as well. Their kitchen is fantastic. Give them a try.

    We have been a loyal customer for over 40 years . I wouldn’t go any where else for my meat. The quality is excellent, the service is great and the Deli section has a lot to offer.
    One last thing the lunch and dinner specials cannot be best. And Dennis has always served me with his gracious.
