P.F. Chang's To Go

My wife loves PF Chang's, so we were very excited to have this place down the street from us. The food was pretty good, but the only problem is the portion sizes are extremely small. It cost my wife and I $65 for two soups, one appetizer, and two entrees. For that amount of money, the portion sizes shouldn't be small. While my wife and I would like to be frequent customers, the value is horrible given the price of the food and portion sizes. We'll order from them again, but not as frequent as we intended to unless the portion sizes improve.

The food was delicious but the wait was so long. I ordered online and they said to pick up in half an hour. I got there to pick up right on time. I had to wait another hour! So it took one and a half hours from the time I ordered to get my food. They gave me free dessert to compensate me but I really hope they hire more chefs or fix the problem.

I have always loved PF Chang's and was pleased that a take out only restaurant opened fairly close to me. My first order was the dinner for 4 family meal and would only have to feed 3 of us. It included the lettuce wrap appetizer, 1 quart of egg drop soup, mongolian beef, fried rice and sesame chicken. The food was very good as to be expected, however, the portion of Mongolian Beef was a bit small and they forgot 2 sides of rice that were supposed to accompany the 2 main dishes. I will chalk that up to Grand opening mistakes and look forward to my next take-out meal from PF Chang's to go.
