Lovely atmosphere. Good nuevo Italian food. Congenial staff. The restaurant is better than the food

Came for dinner here with my colleagues. There was a group of 6 of us back in October. The place is a solid performer with decent service and being able to accommodate the dietary restrictions for some of our group.

But I can't say I got anything beyond the good presentation and solid flavors. But there is nothing much I can say beyond that. The flavors are meh, good service, good drinks comfortable menu but that's it.

I tried the lasagna, it was good, tasted well. It wasn't anything special, that really stood out. The presentation of all their plates was very nice and fitting for their price range. Service was excellent !
not my #1 Italian restaurant choice, but if I am in that area, Then it's worth to come come back

Here the food is good, the atmosphere relaxed, and the cocktails intriguing. I enjoyed a Toasted Drop which had was an amazing blend of toasted marshmallow (cream and cinnamon with other magic) and lemon drop flavors. Of the 5 cocktails our table ordered, none fell short of the promises their names and ingredients whispered from the menu.

I had a deliciously cooked, massive portion of veal. I am still in awe of the size of portion as well as the quality and perfect preparation. I expected a small portion given the nature of veal and the price point but was absolutely blown away by what arrived. I normally don't finish large steaks in one sitting but I couldn't stop eating it.

The others at the table were similarly enamored with their meals.

Bistango delivers an experience that definitely hits above it's price without pretense. The ambiance, food and drinks do the talking for this wonderful restaurant.
