The food is delicious! It gives you such satisfaction of eating a home cooked meal with So much love. We were so glad to meet the chef who was absolutely delightful to meet all of us. She personally went to each table and was having happy conversationsconversations!! The only disappointment is the service. They could hire a waiter who is much more efficient and friendly.
Got take out here and loved it. Great addition to the neighborhood. Keep up the great work!
We came here hoping it would be good, but had no idea just how good it would be. The food was outstanding; they don't favor mock meats pretending to be something else but instead offer delicious, savory dishes that showcase just how good Thai food can be. Our waiter was warm and attentive, and the owner stole the show when she came out in traditional Thai dress and danced with our daughter to help celebrate her birthday. It was all around an outrageously delicious night we will not soon forget.
My son Jason and I love to eat here! Delicious. Healthy. Vegetarian. So yummy. Nice spices. Chefs know how to cook. Beautiful atmosphere. Soothing candlelight and Thai music. Plenty of courses. So enjoyable and nutritious. Easy to find near the F train. May Kaideeis is a very wonderful hands-on owner. She carefully supervised everything. She is Thai and we have eaten at her restaurant in Bangkok. We are all lucky to have her and her food served in New York City. We love her so much. She also has great cooking classes and cookbooks available.
After traveling Asia for a while May Kaidee in Bangkok was the first place my vegetarian mum would not only comfortably eat, but devour everything. We ate there a few times in 2016 and planned it so we could surprise her during our trip to New York City in November 2018 and try to eat at its restaurant there. We were late for our reservation and were still greeted by kind and friendly servers who happily catered to our toddlers needs (extra rice, highchair, own bowl). Food was so incredible that not a noodle, rice, sauce was left behind. It was still the best Thai food I have ever had! It is fabulous that its vegan so no dairy sensitivities were comprised within our group.
