Get the super groaning board salmon special and bobka for dessert!
One of the best outdoor cafes in lower Manhattan ????????.
Definitely authentic! I got the traditional lox on an everything bagel and it was great! I removed the vegetables because I thought they were unnecessary. My husband got the lower east side sandwich and it was good with really strong flavor but the coleslaw slightly overpowered the flavor of the lox. We'd definitely go there again. I wish we'd had time to check out the museum as well, we didn't know it was inside the museum. Service was fine, we didn't have to wait but it got busier and we felt like they were waiting for us to leave. Overall, great experience.
High End Food !
With beautiful view and great service .
I love this cafe! LOX is all about classic Jewish delicacies with a refined edge. Thy have the best cured in house lox I have ever tried, with flavors such as grapefruit and gin, sake ginger, pastrami and double smoked. You can get a hearty sandwich on homemade challah bread or a delicious and fresh salad. The baked goods are also amazing- try the poppy seed roll! Definitely a brunch spot to add to your list!
