Loved the carnitas tacos we ordered through uber eats and it was pretty fast. Tacos definitely didn't disappoint. I wish I wouldve ordered more tacos. My other favorite taco was the chorizo with nopales taco. Their salsas for the tacos are really good too loved the red sauce. It was spicy just how we like it. Cant wait to try other dishes.

    Viva Mexico indeed.

Best AUTHENTIC Mexican food on the island.

Beats my usual Mexican long line 3 choice taco place in Chelsea Market.

If feeling a sandwich I go for a CEMITA- choice of meat (breaded chicken cutlet, grilled chicken or ground chorizo), string cheese, avocado, lettuce, onion, papalo herb, chipotle sauce on a sesame roll OR if I want something more hearty with a protein I get a TORTA- choice of meat, avocado, pickled jalapeño, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, onion (yes- it all fits in one sanGwich))).

TACOS I've tried are carne enchilada, arabe and taco with nopales. All were excellent.
Mexican authentic tacos don't come with crazy add ons and only include meat, onions, cilantro but you have an option to Americanize your taco for a bit extra to add tomatoes and cheese (which is well worth it). All tacos come with a lime wedge, green (mild) and red (hot) salsa.

SALAD is fresh and a very good value for $5, which is a rarity in this part of the city- comes with a side of oil and vinegar.

AQUA DE JAMAICA (Hibiscus tea) is delicious and crazy healthy (rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and helps you lose weight).

And for those vegetarians/vegans/veggie lovers who don't know what NOPALES are (see pic)- meet your best friend- grilled cactus. Sound weird- tastes amazing. Hopefully it will be added to the menu as a side order.

Just a word of caution to those of us who are used to Dominican shakes/batidas- shakes from here are Mexican shakes (shocking for a Mexican restaurant, I know) and made with cinnamon. That was completely unexpected for me- I finished it but would not order it again.
