We accidentally came upon this place when walking through the seaport area. Lovely ambience and comfortable place to unwind after a long day. Food choice is very limited and that needs to be better. Service was pretty ok

First off R 17 is the best kept secret in New York City. Food is spectacular, attention to detail, every bite you take want more, my wife and I had a wonderful time. Our waiter was very polite and knew the menu extremely well, the cocktail Menu was extremely taste fall, From all the restaurant we have gone too. R17 is on the top of our list, I highly recommen if u want great food service or just the scenery

Upscale bar. The cocktails are amazing. They offer some food, but they are like tapas, for sharing. And they are so good. Can't wait to see the place during summer time.

My old fashion was very good. The cocktail menu was great and so was the beer selection. Maybe a bit small, but what is listed was good. My wife and i didn't eat there but the food smelled tasty. Is a very relaxed, casual atmosphere, a bit loungy, dark and comfortable. You have to kinda know where to enter.

Unbelievably great addition to the seaport neighborhood. I went three nights in a row last week with different groups of people, if that gives you an idea of how much I like it.

Fantastic cocktails, great/friendly service (say hi to Frank!), awesome decor, killer views. Fireplace makes it feel warm and inviting.

Can’t say enough positive things. My only concern is it becoming too crowded and I won’t enjoy it as much.
