Beautiful experience! Great drinks and a unique and delicious spin on Japanese food! Loved it!

I WAS ACTUALLY INVITED THERE TO A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF A BLOOD SISTER OUR SECOND MEETING A LONG TIME COMING, LET'S SAY 50 YEARS OR MORE...MY SISTER RENTED THE RESTAURANT FOR OUR SECOND BLESSED GET TOGETHER...I WAS MORE FOCUSED ON OUR TIME TOGETHER... I CAN'T SAY MUCH ABOUT THE RESTAURANT. THE REVIEWS I READ WERE NOT GOOD. I STILL GAVE IT A 4 .. I HAD A GREAT TIME THERE!!! I WON'T MAKE ANY HARSH JUDGEMENT, PERSONALLY ID GO DOWN THE STREET TO SYLVIA'S AND TO MIDTOWN IF U WANTED JAPANESE ????

Nabe is a good restaurant with amazing service. I would recommend it more for its awesome service than anything else, even though the food is good as well. The setting is real tranquil and welcoming, with a subtle vibe. The only issue I have is that the portion for their rice meals are too tiny for the price, when I've had much larger portions at other places for the same price. That being said, their soups are a big portions so it just depends on what you order. I would go back to this establishment.
