Pita Express

2.22.19 - generally not bad. The schwama was a little dry, the pita/bread was done well, the roasted veggies were nice, and the service was fast considering it's only one waitress on the floor.

Sit in the back during winter or you'll catch every draft when the door opens.

It gets busy for lunch and they do brisk takeout business.

In NYC from Seattle on biz, and we were stunned with how fresh, how well prepared, how tasty, how excellent Pita express was. Owner was present every time we popped in... and it shows. Service outstanding. Food outstanding. need a quick, healthy, delicious meal. Dont miss it....

Incredible meal here. For sure the best in Manhattan - fresh, delicious, tasty food with very generous portions. Excellent value for all the food we had, every single thing was so tasty. Recommend the Mazza platter as a great app. The staff were so nice and pleasant and incredibly efficient. Owner was present and friendly too, greeting people at the lunch rush and helping to seat those who were waiting for tables. We HIGHLY recommend this place as a MUST stop for anyone visiting NYC- for those that eat kosher or not. Minutes walk away from World Trade Centre Memorial and the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Awesome, awesome food. Cozy place. To be honest, the 5 stars are really for the music there. I just wish they would turn it up a bit...
