Great to support a new local small business. Warm and welcoming family with great food. It’s my new favorite spot in the neighborhood...no attitudes or pretentiousness like some smaller coffee shops in the area.

Besides the place being cozy and delicious food, you can learn a piece of Albanian history by looking at the pictures/paintings displayed on the wall. The owners are very generous in answering any questions explored by your curiosity driven by the wall display. Albanian music and even old time Albanian movies are generally present. Did I mention food gets a 5 star rating here?

Very friendly proprietor who will probably give you free samples. Coffee and other beverages are free with your meal, and they make an excellent bulletproof coffee. Coffee servings are huge, and come in a nice glass beaker. The spinach byrek is generous and very tasty.

It’s a little out of the way and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect based on the exterior, but this place is definitely a hidden gem - super cozy and serves delicious and authentic Albanian food. On top of that, it’s pretty damn cheap for the neighborhood. Highly recommend the byrek for breakfast.
