Solid sushi, very friendly staff, fair prices. An excellent place to have lunch if you're in the Village and want to be on an interesting block.

Pretty large place, not crowded when we went on a Saturday evening. Spicy miso is the better of the vegetarian broths -- a solid ramen; the creamy vegetable one is pretty bland, and comes with oddly textured brown noodles.

I found that the restaurant was hard to get ahold of at noon on a Saturday (when they are supposed to be open) to place a takeout order. But after several tries and wondering if I had the right number, my order was ready in 15 minutes. The lunch special with three rolls was quite filling, although the eligible rolls for the special are small in circumference and delicately filled.

The staffs at this place are attentive and friendly. Their sushi lunch is more than satisfying for the price range.

A typical sushi restaurant. Nothing fancy. Good selection. It will satisfy your taste buds for sushi in that area.
