    Old World in the New World. The finest "Jewish 'Appetizers'" anywhere. Every detail is perfection from paper napkins to your "nosh" with with very good service. Russ and Daughters in an Institution.

    Found!
    Russ & Daughters has blessed the Lower East Side since the turn of the century. I recently learned that a purveyor of appetizers relates to food desperation for a Kosher restaurant. Either way, their fish is top notch. They have a couple of benches outside but plan on bringing it wherever you go, especially to your mother’s house!

    Excellent food. Every dish is made to perfection. Fish is super fresh and every bite is mouthwatering. 2 locations for sit down, one on LES and one on upper east + there is an appetizer location. Gets very busy on weekends, expect to wait an hour to eat. Try the lox, sable and caviar.
