Mama's TOO!

Had a great experience in terms of customer service and quickness - loved that. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, too. The pizza gets a 3/5 though. I was bummed, but what can you do. The pepperoni slice I got was burnt, making some part of the pizza inedible. The potato/rosemary pizza slice was also a 3/5. Not sure I know how to explain it, but not my favorite pizza place. The staff definitely made the experience somewhat decent though and I appreciate that!

The best slice place on the Upper West Side without a question, but way, way too disorganized. No pizza place should ever turn away customers because of a lack of pizza at any time, let alone peak hours! Been there countless times now where the wait was up to 20-30 minutes for the next pizza, and once even completely turned away (no pizzas in the near future at all)! Never been to any other popular pizza place in the city with the same issue. Very disappointing since I love the pizza. I recommend this place, but only if you're unbelievably patient... or lucky!

Fantastic pizza. I still think the house slice from a round pizza is the best. The rectangular pizzas are good if you like extra crispy (read almost burnt) crust. Worth the wait if there is a small line. Limited seating.
